When people ask me what I do, it's really hard not to blurt out, "I have a lot of fun making dope content!" Since leaving my career as a local TV news reporter, I've kept a promise to myself: if I’m not enjoying what I do, I won’t do it. That philosophy has taken me all over the world, exploring storytelling across a range of mediums and genres, it’s been a thrilling ride.

I've produced and directed short-form lifestyle and music content for MTV, VH1, BET, and Revolt, and developed branded content series for Chevy, Coca-Cola, and New Amsterdam Vodka. Along the way, I’ve worked with a host of A-list celebrities, collaborating with some of the industry’s most recognized names to create standout, award-winning content. I’ve served as showrunner on series for iONE Digital and Centric, focusing on Black culture, and co-founded Backslash, TBWA\Chiat\Day’s cultural insight studio, earning Fast Company’s Most Innovative Agency honors in 2019 and 2020. At Maximum Effort, Ryan Reynolds' agency, I wrote commercial spots.

Infusing my love for comedy and storytelling into everything I do, I've performed stand-up, led the writer’s room for Fox’s Top 30, and created and directed a scripted comedy pilot soon to hit the festival circuit. I also bring my perspective to breaking down current events on TikTok and shine a spotlight on Black culture through my YouTube channel.

I am an impeccable relationship builder and leader with deep experience as a journalist, content creator, and agency executive. I bring out the best in cross-functional teams, driving KPI results and delivering consistent success through collaboration, mentorship, and empowerment. A key leadership lesson I’ve learned is that everyone has a “why” behind their actions. While I may not always agree with those actions, starting from that shared “why” creates common ground and fosters strong connections.
